Johnny Manziel is the Perfect Person to Teach Wyoming’s Josh Allen About Football and Life, Johnny Manziel is back in the States training for his NFL comeback according to TMZ. He recently took a break to visit a topless beach with his fiancée, Brie Tiesi, and some friends. At some point during this comeback attempt Manziel apparently spent some time working out with Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, the potential top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Via CBS Sports:

Before you laugh, consider that Manziel might be able to make a good living as some kind of quarterback life adviser. He's done plenty of dumb stuff and appears to be doing alright now even if he doesn't have a job in the NFL at 24. He hasn't been in court in months.

Manziel spent two seasons in an NFL locker room. Or at least as close to an NFL locker room as you get in Cleveland. Maybe he's the perfect guy to tell young quarterbacks what not to do.

Not only was it designed by a high school student — Alyssa Hertz, 18, of Copley, Ohio — but it's also made almost entirely out of Styrofoam.

That's right: bowls, cups, plates. And a little hot glue to hold it all together.

Hertz created the dress as part of an independent studies project. Copley High School art teacher Antoine Pastor gives Hertz design challenges based around unconventional materials. She's made cocktail dresses from newspaper and jewelry from nuts and bolts, but the Styrofoam gown proved to be her toughest assignment yet.

"I was kinda stuck before I figured out what I wanted to do," Hertz told TODAY. "I couldn't imagine how I could make Styrofoam into a dress, because it's such a stiff material."

Hertz used two of the three weeks allotted for the project to experiment, focusing mainly on the rosettes that line the halter straps. Floral elements are becoming a signature for the aspiring fashion designer, who cites romantic Australian designer Paolo Sebastian as one of her biggest influences.

Once the wheels started turning, though, the dress came together quickly, surprising even Hertz herself. "Seeing it evolve from a bunch of different pieces, to finally seeing it all put together [is the most satisfying part]," she said.

Hertz even got to show off the final product of her version of the runway: the halls of her high school. "I always take pictures of my assignments," she said. "The day before it's due, I make my friends put on the outfit. We'll be walking through the hallways in these dresses ... people come out to stop and stare and take pictures."

It's good practice for Hertz, who plans to major in fashion design at Kent State University. She'll also submit the gown to the Cleveland IngenuityFest, which showcases work from local artists.

But first, she has one more assignment: a wildcard project using a material of her choosing. Naturally, the lover of florals opted for fake flowers, stems and leaves.

Alan Thicke's Sons Claim His Wife Threatened Them With Bad Press to Get More of His Estate, America's dearly departed favorite dad Alan Thicke is at the center of what is shaping up to be a dramatic family fight, as his sons are taking his wife to court over his estate.

Brennan and Robin Thicke are co-trustee's of the Thicke's living trust. They say they've been left with no choice but to file a petition in order to "honor the memory of their father, protect his legacy, and prevent his testamentary intentions from being undermined by avarice and overreaching of his third wife, Tanya Callau."

Thicke died suddenly in December, after his aorta ruptured while playing hockey with his son Carter.

The sons claim their father acquired the vast majority of his wealth long before meeting Callau, who signed a prenuptial agreement ahead of their 2005 marriage.

In the trust, Thicke left each of his three children equal shares of a Carpinteria ranch, 75 percent of his personal effects and 60 percent of his remaining estate, according to the petition. He left Callau, the ranch's furnishings, 25 percent of his personal effects, a $500,000 life insurance policy, all of his death benefits from pensions and union memberships and 40 percent of his remaining estate. He also provided that she could live at the ranch, as long as she paid for its expenses and maintained the property.

Now, Thicke's sons claim Callau is insisting that the prenup she signed is invalid.

According to the petition filed Tuesday in L.A. County Superior Court, Thicke updated his trust from time to time and the most recent iteration was signed in February 2016. It designated his brother Todd as the trustee, and left the estate in the hands of his children if Todd declined the role - which he did. Brennan and Robin say Callau made no complaints about the prenuptial agreement or the estate plan at that time.

"Now that Alan is dead, Tanya claims there are numerous problems with the Trust and the Prenuptial Agreement," writes attorney Alex Weingarten in the petition. "Tanya asserts that there is no chance the 'Prenup' could withstand legal challenge and that she has very significant community rights in the Trust's assets and rights of reimbursement with respect to improvements to the Ranch. Tanya also claims 'Marvin rights' asserting that she had to forego opportunities to pursue and advance her own career in order to support Alan and be his companion and partner, including raising Carter."

Weingarten also claims Thicke's wife has "threatened to make her claims fodder for 'tabloid publicity' unless the Co-Trustees agreed to participate in a mediation and succumb to her demands."

The Thickes are asking the court for instructions concerning the extent to which the Trust's property is the actor's separate property and whether Callau's challenge to the prenup is barred because she waived her community property rights when signing it.

"My clients made every effort to resolve this without the need for going to court," Weingarten tells The Hollywood Reporter. "The only thing they care about is protecting the legacy of their father and honoring his intentions. That is exactly what we are going to do."

A representative for Callau could not immediately be reached for comment.

Twitter reacts to Big Ben's odd expression at Penguins game, Ben Roethlisberger was in attendance Monday night at PPG Paints Arena for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ showdown with the Ottawa Senators in Game 2 of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals. And footage of the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback in the stands led to some pretty funny jokes on Twitter.

Roethlisberger was shown during NBCSN’s broadcast of the game. While it’s unclear exactly why, Big Ben appeared a bit confused or bummed out or something.

Or at least that’s how wiseacres on social media interpreted his seemingly nonplussed expression, as tweets, including the one above, started coming out suggesting Big Ben was weighing far more "serious" issues than an NHL playoff game.

One tweet wondered if Roethlisberger was okay.

Roethlisberger in the end got to see a solid performance out of the hometown Penguins. A 1-0 victory, courtesy of Phil Kessel’s goal in the third period and Marc-Andre Fleury’s 23 saves in the shutout, knotted up the series with the Senators at one game apiece.

Better yet? Roethlisberger must have heard how the footage prompted some humorous remarks on Twitter. The signal-caller took to social media to alert everyone he was in on the joke.

Nicely done and well played, Big Ben.

The duo -- 34 years apart in age! -- were seen on a romantic dinner date in Malibu, Calif., and it was loaded with PDA.

E! News quoted an onlooker who saw the budding couple at a private, sea-front table at sushi hotspot Nobu.

"David and Katharine were very intimate during their dinner," the source said. "David was seen grabbing Katharine's face and kissing her cheek several times. Katharine was doing the same to David's face and they were acting as if they were a couple."

The source added, "By the end of the date, Katharine sat on David's side of the table and cuddled him with a blanket."

During the dinner David, 67, and Kat, 33, shared two bottles of red wine and several sushi dishes. After a two-hour meal, they left in the same car.

The music producer and the "American Idol" alum have known each other for over a decade, but, according to Page Six, were seen together last month at Barbra Streisand's 75th birthday party. They also attended a tennis match together in March.

David has been married four times, most recently to former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Hadid.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he said, "This is the first time in my adult life that I've been single. It's a very powerful feeling, but I'm not used to it. Someone said to me recently that you need to be very careful about the person you pick to spend the rest of your life with. It's kind of weird that I'm hearing that now and thinking, 'Oh, right.'"

Kat divorced her husband Nick Cokas in May 2014 after she was caught kissing her "Smash" director Michael Morris. Shortly after, she dated her "Scorpion" co-star Elyes Gabel, but they split in July 2016.

Sears has a bigger problem than plunging sales

Sears has a bigger problem than plunging sales, Sears has a bigger problem than plunging sales: dwindling inventory.

The companies that supply Sears with the TVs, toys, and clothing for sale in its stores are growing increasingly concerned about the retailer's ability to pay its bills, and some are cutting back on shipments to stores as a result.

That means Sears and Kmart stores are receiving less merchandise to sell, which is a grave problem for a company that's trying to avoid a possible bankruptcy by reversing years of sales declines.

Sears said this week that One World Technologies, one of its top tool suppliers, threatened to cancel its contract with Sears unless the retailer agreed to cut back its orders. One World Technologies cited concerns about the Sears' ability to pay its bills, according to a lawsuit filed by Sears on Monday.

Sears says it has always paid its suppliers on time and claims One World Technologies is trying to take advantage of "negative rumors" and media reports about Sears' viability to change the terms of its contract.

The tool vendor, which is a subsidiary of China-based Techtronic Industries, isn't the only supplier that is giving Sears trouble.

Last week, Lampert told the Chicago Tribune that several vendors had been treating Sears like a "pariah" and questioning its ability to pay for orders "because there are a lot of articles that are speculating, and there are elements of truth, but they're certainly designed to scare people."

"If you're a vendor, and want to do business with us, then you have to treat us like a customer," he said. "You don't treat us like a pariah."

Reuters spoke to three suppliers in March that are also cutting back shipments, refusing bigger orders, or demanding earlier payment from Sears.

A Bangladesh-based textile firm told Reuters that it has drastically cut back shipments to Sears for the upcoming holiday quarter, and that it's reevaluating accepting new orders to protect itself against the risk of nonpayment. The company declined to be identified.

Another supplier, Arnold Kamler, CEO of New Jersey-based bicycle manufacturer and importer Kent International Inc, told Reuters that Sears tried to purchase more bikes from them last year "because a lot of their current suppliers were either cutting them off or limited them on credit." He said he declined Sears' request.

Suppliers have been worried about Sears' financial health for a while, but their concerns really accelerated in the last half of 2016.

It's a problem that has been underreported because so few suppliers are willing to discuss the matter openly for fear of triggering a Sears bankruptcy or disrupting their relationship with the company.

But the issue is readily apparent in stores, where empty shelves and barren wall displays showcase the impact of the company's declining inventory.

Visits to Sears stores in Richmond, Virginia and Woodbridge, New Jersey revealed a clear lack of inventory.

At both stores, it appeared that employees tried to spread out the merchandise to fill the store. Regardless of their efforts, many areas of both stores were nearly empty.

The company is under pressure from years of plunging sales, which have been cut in half since 2007, and it has lost more than a quarter of its executive team in the last five months. 

Lampert has said that the company is committed to restoring profitability and continuing retail operations with a smaller physical footprint. But if suppliers are cancelling orders, that will severely hamper the company's efforts.

Sears is also facing a looming debt payment  from a $500 million loan facility that's maturing in July. The company said it's in talks with lenders and will provide an update on the payment before the end of May.

April Obin says her son has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and tends to disrupt class at Gabe P. Allen Elementary School several times a week. But he has trained counselors that help him cope with the mood disorder.

On May 9, Obin says her son had an episode that turned violent and he began to bang his head against the wall.

Obin's attorney, Amar Dhillon, says the school was having standardized testing that day. The boy's counselor wasn't available, so they called his mother in for assistance.

"Before she could get to the school, the DISD police department was called," Dhillon said. "[They] handcuffed the child and took him away."

Upon his arrival, the mental health facility gave the boy emergency medication to help calm him down, CBS Dallas-Fort Worth reported. The facility then fought a judge to keep him there for up to 30 days. The boy remained in the facility's custody until Monday.

His family says the school and police made the situation much worse than it needed to be.

Dhillon has made serious accusations against district police, saying officers used excessive force on the child by causing bruising on the boy's legs as a result of beating him with a baton. The family's lawyer also claims police used a Taser during the encounter.

"The boy did vividly describe being shocked and his body convulsing," Dhillon said. "He was very clear about that."

The Dallas Independent School District has declined to comment on the matter due to privacy laws.

Starbucks spokeswoman Madeleine Löwenborg-Frick said the company pushed out a software update in line with normal practices and that the outage was unrelated to the "WannaCry" ransomware attack that infected more than 300,000 computers worldwide.

"Our systems have not been compromised by any third party," she said in an email, adding that the company hoped to have all stores back online "shortly."

She did not say how many stores were affected.

Fiancee of Aaron Hernandez tells Dr. Phil she does not believe his death was suicide, The fiancee of the late Aaron Hernandez does not believe the former Patriots tight end committed suicide inside his prison cell last month.

Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez said in an exclusive interview on "The Dr. Phil Show" she was shocked by the news of Hernandez’s death because he sounded positive and excited to speak to their daughter hours before he died on April 19.

“It’s just not the Aaron that I know,” Jenkins-Hernandez said in the interview. “I think that if he would have done something like this, it would have been at his worst, and I felt like we were, like it was looking so bright. I haven’t been able to grasp it yet … I don’t think this was a suicide.”

Jenkins' interview airs Monday and Tuesday.

Confusion and conspiracy theories surfaced on social media the day of Hernandez’s death. Hernandez's lawyer Jose Baez; his former agent, Brian Murphy, and current and former NFL players were among those to question the initial ruling of suicide.

Jenkins-Hernandez said the Massachusetts State Police report of its investigation into Hernandez’s death do not make sense to her. 

Also in the interview, she said Hernandez’s initial guilty verdict in the murder of Odin Lloyd — which has since been vacated — surprised her.

“I truly don’t [believe Hernandez killed Lloyd]. He may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time, but I don’t think what has been said to be out there to be accurate,” she said.

Days prior to his death, Hernandez was found not guilty of a 2012 double homicide.

It remains unclear whether Jenkins-Hernandez will receive a NFL pension or other funds due to ongoing wrongful-death litigation.
