Dianne Wiest rent
Dianne Wiest rent, Despite two Oscar wins on her résumé — for Hannah and Her Sisters and Bullets Over Broadway — veteran actress Dianne Wiest is living a decidedly unglamorous life.
In fact, she can't even pay her rent.
"I have to move out of my apartment soon," she told The New York Times during an interview about Rasheeda, an off-Broadway play she's starring in.Wiest says her career struggles have been because of a lack of opportunities, and typecasting. For a while, she was only offered roles for "a nice mom and that's it. That's all that ever came, except in theater."
She hasn't given up hope yet that she'll land more of the parts she wants and be able to reverse her fortunes.
"I think that if it's meant to happen, it will happen," she says. "Which is I guess a real sign of stupidity."
