Gary Oldman's fourth wife Alexandra Edenborough files for divorce after six years of marriage

Gary Oldman's fourth wife Alexandra Edenborough files for divorce after six years of marriage, Gary Oldman is splitting from his fourth wife.

Alexandra Edenborough, 36, filed for divorce on January 9, citing irreconcilable differences, reports RadarOnline. Oldman, 56, married the singer and actress on New Year's Eve 2008. They have no children together.

In court documents Edenborough has asked for Oldman to pay for spousal support and her attorney's fees. She requested for him not to receive spousal support.

Last year, the Dark Knight actor sounded hopeful about his most recent marriage.

'Practice makes perfect. Isn't that what they say? I'm not proud that this is my fourth marriage. But this is a good one. Hopefully, my last one,' he told The Independent.

Oldman was married to Leslie Manville from 1987-1989, who he shares son Alfie, 26, with.
He then went on to marry Uma Thurman in 1990, after they met on the set of State Of Grace, but that ended after two years.

During his troubled marriage to his third wife, Donya Fiorentino, she accused the English star of hitting her during a fight.

Oldman eventually won sole legal and physical custody of their two sons Gulliver, 17, and Charlie, 15, after their split in 2001.

The Hannibal star courted controversy last year when he made some inappropriate comments during an interview with Playboy magazine in which he claimed Hollywood is 'a town run by Jews.'

He said: 'It was an article I did with Playboy and I said some things that were poorly considered, and once I had seen it in print, I could see it was, um, offensive, insensitive, pernicious and ill-informed.

'And, uh, well, words have meaning, they carry weight, they carry on long after you've said them, and I don't condone or excuse the words I used in any context.

I just basically shouldn't have used them in any context. But I did an I have deeply injured and wounded a great many people.'
