He was smart, funny and caring': Ben Stiller leads the tributes as comedian and actor Taylor Negron dies aged 57, Comedian and actor Taylor Negron died on Saturday aged 57.

Negron's acting career spanned numerous TV shows and movies including a memorable scene in Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
Tributes to Negron were led by 49-year-old actor Ben Stiller, who tweeted: 'Taylor Negron was a very smart, funny caring individual with a unique comedic voice.

Negron's death was announced by his cousin Chuck Negron, a former member of the rock band Three Dog Night, in a short YouTube video.

'May he rest in peace. I just wanted all of you people who knew him and loved him to know that he just passed,' his cousin said fighting back tears.

Chuck said he was with Negron at the time of his death along with the actor's mother, his brother Alex and Chuck's brother Rene.

The actor had more than 100 television and film credits in an acting career that began in 1979.
Negron had a memorable scene in the 1982 comedy Fast Times At Ridgemont High as a pizza delivery guy who brings food to Mr. Hand's history class for surfing stoner Jeff Spicoli, played by Sean Penn.

He also had a featured role in the 1982 comedy Young Doctors In Love and played the villainous Milo in the 1991 action comedy film The Last Boy Scout starring Bruce Willis.

Negron had numerous big screen credits in films such as Punchline, One Crazy Summer, Stuart Little, Angels In The Outfield, Better Off Dead and Nothing But Trouble.

He also made regular appearances on television in shows including Hill Street Blues, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, ER, Party Of Five, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wizards Of Waverly Place and The Hughleys.

Negron was among the dozens of comedians who appeared in the 2005 documentary film The Aristocrats about the famous dirty joke of the same name shared by comedians.

His version included raunchy sex acts and a different title for the punchline. Negron also was a stand-up comedian, writer and painter.
