New Show For Nerds, Syfy is developing a weekly half-hour TV show version of “Nerdist News,” Variety has confirmed.
The show will cover the latest news in science fiction and fantasy, tech and science, and sci-pop culture. It will have the same tone and feel as the online version.
The pilot will be exec produced by Chris Hardwick and Brandon Monk (“Talking Dead”) through Nerdist Industries.
Hardwick will not host the show, and there’s no word yet from Syfy on potential hosts.
