Brent Musburger: Longtime announcer could join Tim Tebow on SEC Network

Brent Musburger: Longtime announcer could join Tim Tebow on SEC Network, ESPN has already gone out and gotten one big name for their SEC Network that begins later this year, and that is Tim Tebow. Now, the Inquisitr reports on Jan. 21, 2014, that Tebow may be joined by a legendary announcer as rumors state Brent Musburger could be on his way there as well.

According to some reports, Brent Musburger has been offered the job of lead college football announcer for the upcoming SEC Network. It is set to debut at the end of August.

There is no word on whether or not Musburger will take the job and if the final BCS Championship game will be the last game he calls outside of the pure SEC. It isn't certain if he will take the position because some reports state he isn't happy with how the process is happening.

Musburger is not doing any interviews right now and has said nothing on the subject.

Tebow is ecstatic about his new career opportunity and is looking forward to things getting started at the end of the summer.

“I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity. When I was six years old I fell in love with the game of football and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC.”

Should Brent Musburger join the SEC Network, Tebow will have a great teacher and mentor, but that remains to be seen.
