Marijuana cannon (VIDEO), Canned marijuana blazed through the Yuma sky Friday as drug smugglers used a pneumatic-powered cannon, according to a Border Patrol press release.
Agents received a report of suspicious containers in a field near County Road 22 and the Colorado River where they found 33 cans of marijuana weighing a total of 85 pounds.......articles.ivpressonline
It's believed they were propelled 500 feet using a pneumatic-powered cannon, and a carbon dioxide tank was found in the area.
Border Patrol and Mexican authorities are investigating the smuggling attempt. The marijuana is estimated to be worth about $42,500, and it was seized for destruction.
