Bethenny frankel divorce

Bethenny frankel divorce, She’s no longer a “Housewife,” she’s no longer a real-life wife — but Bethenny Frankel insists she’s not on the hunt.

“Right now, I’m closed for business. Really closed,” says the reality TV star, whose Fox talk show, “Bethenny,” launches Sept. 9.

“I’m a person who only likes to have sex with someone I’m really into. And I’m not remotely in a place where I want to be in a relationship,” she says. “I am not ready to meet someone.”

Sex certainly isn’t a priority for the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star: she ranks it at No. 8 on her to-do list in her new book, “Skinnygirl Solutions” — far behind seemingly less urgent concerns like exercise (No. 3) or recreation (No. 4).

Bethenny Frankel and estranged husband Jason Hoppy take their daughter out for a stroll in New York.

Really?
“If I were involved with someone, sex would probably be No. 1,” Frankel laughs. “Or I could combine it with No. 3 for sexercise.”

The lull in the bedroom comes after her divorce from businessman Jason Hoppy and the bitter custody fight over their 3-year-old daughter, Bryn. The split is not something she’s willing to talk about, but Frankel says she has moved on from the feelings of failure she confesses to in the book.

“I did feel that way when I was writing the book, because I was part of a fairytale come true in front of everybody,” says Frankel, who married on a Bravo special and played out the first year of marriage on “Bethenny Ever After.”

“I feel I gave my fans a little blow and I feel responsible for that. But now I believe that women are resilient and everything you go through is part of your texture.”

Her advice to women in similar situations sounds like the kind of recommendation that’s primed for the talk show scene.

“You have to take a deep breath,” says Frankel. “Nothing is as terrible in reality as it feels. The way you approach things is as important as what is actually happening.”

Frankel is currently on a national “Calling All My Girls” tour, stumping for the new show after its trial run this summer. In the book she writes that landing the talk show made her feel as if she’d “finally” accomplished something big.

“It’s true; I’ve had four best-selling books, but it’s the talk show that makes me feel like a success,” says the 42-year-old host. “It’s just such a gratifying, tangible result when women come up to you and tell you that you’ve changed their lives. I get that from the talk show.”

“Skinnygirl Solutions” is a compendium of advice for the modern woman on how to live right, from the personal to the professional. Written Bethenny-style, it offers tips that Martha Stewart would never think to share — like how to get fall-down drunk without falling down.

Frankel recalls getting sloshed at an A-list party also attended by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper and Madonna, but at the moment she was about to fall off her heels, she thought to wave over a friend she had brought as “my person” to steer her clear of disaster.

“You know that sip where suddenly you have to find a wall or a person,” she laughs. “Always have a ‘person’ there for you in those situations.”
Frankel also describes how she is trying to be somewhat less of a homebody, claiming she now socializes for emotional sustenance.

“I’m in my 40s, but it wasn’t that long ago that I was still wearing my pajamas publicly,” she admits. “But these days it’s important to get together with my girlfriends. It’s important to be with other women, not isolating.”
The reality mogul, who managed to spin her spot on “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” into TV stardom, knows to trust her judgment.

I don’t screw up a good idea. I don’t screw up with my instincts as a mother. I don’t screw up recipes,” she says.
But sometimes things go wrong — and Frankel says she owns up to it.

“I make mistakes by committing to do too much in a day. I make mistakes by believing that people can do something they are not capable of. I make mistakes by saying too much too often.”

Well, not always. For instance, Frankel refuses to comment on Teresa Giudice — the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star in a swamp of legal trouble — after stating last week that she doesn’t feel at all sorry for her. She only wishes competitor Kris Jenner luck on her new ratings-challenged Fox talk show, and as for the assistant recently fired from her own show, “it’s inconsequential.”

Besides, she says, she’s harder on herself than she is on others. That says a lot, considering she convinced Jim Beam to pay around $100 million for her Skinnygirl Margaritas brand in 2011, according to Forbes.
