Mayhem miller arrested

Mayhem miller arrested, For a time, Jason "Mayhem" Miller was the court jester of mixed martial arts, the good-time guy, the life of the party, the comic relief. No one is laughing anymore.

Instead, there is concern about his current state of mind and his future. Miller, who retired from the sport after a May 2012 loss, was reportedly arrested for the third time since then, taken into custody in California by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

While the OCSD only discloses detailed information in person, the MMA website Bloody Elbow reported that Miller was charged with the alleged corporal injury of a spouse or domestic partner, a domestic violence felony.

According to available public records, Miller was still being held on a $50,000 bond at the Intake Release Center in Santa Ana as of Friday night.

This marks his second arrest in a month. On Aug. 11, he was also arrested on domestic violence charges and released after posting bond.

This follows a trend of trouble for the former middleweight star. In August 2012, he was arrested after allegedly breaking into a church in Mission Viejo, Calif., and ransacking the building. He was reportedly found nude by police.

He was also arrested on Aug. 7, 2011, following a fight with his sister.

Miller retired with a record of 28-9 with one no contest. The 32-year-old was once of the most popular fighters in the world, with a show on MTV, “Bully Beatdown,” to go with his success in the cage. But Miller’s second tenure in the UFC was largely a bust. While he took part in an entertaining season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2011, he was routed in the eventual matchup against opposing coach Michael Bisping, and then lost another fight, this time to C.B. Dollaway in May, a defeat that simultaneously led to both his retirement and a firing by UFC president Dana White.

White and Miller subsequently engaged in an argument on Twitter, but White later pulled back, saying he didn’t wish any ill will on Miller in his future.

Miller is due in court on Aug. 26.
