Sara Dappen 92 McDonald's, A 92-year-old Story City woman is gaining notoriety for perhaps being the oldest McDonald’s employee in the world.
Des Moines television station KCCI featured Sara Dappen in a story Tuesday that made the case for her being the oldest McDonald’s worker in the world.
Several weeks ago, media in Great Britain bestowed that honor on an 88-year-old man from North Wales. But Dappen has four years on him and has been working at the Story City McDonald’s for the past five years.
