Kelly Clarkson made that clear in an interview with BBC radio on Tuesday, when she detailed the pregnancy that was so “horrible,” it put her in the hospital.
“I was hospitalized,” Clarkson, 32, told host Nick Grimson. “It was just kind of a bad pregnancy, so I had to take off way more time [from working] than normal.”
The hospitalization left her bored and raring to get back to work as soon as she could, part of the reason why she’ll put out her album “Piece by Piece” in March, less than a year after the birth of her first child.
“I got real bored,” she said. “My husband was like, ‘Oh God, you need to do something, Kelly.'”
In June, Clarkson gave birth to her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock, a girl named River Rose Blackstock.
