Mindy Kaling Congratulates Reese Witherspoon on Her Oscar Nom – with a 'Wreath Witherspoon', It's the return of Wreath Witherspoon!

When Reese Witherspoon was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Wild last Thursday, she received thousands of well-wishes from fans on social media.

But none of those congratulations could even begin to approach the coolness of the gift she got from Mindy Kaling, who sent her a wreath adorned with gold Oscar statuettes and a photo of Witherspoon, 38.

Witherspoon clearly loved the gift; she Tweeted a photo of the wreath and wrote: "I mean...c'mon! Best gift ever. Thanks, @mindykaling for my #WreathWitherspoon #Oscar edition."

Wreaths have become a running joke between the two actresses. In December, Kaling's character on The Mindy Project decorated her boyfriend's apartment with a Christmas wreath covered with photos of the Oscar-winning actress. And thus, the "Wreath Witherspoon" was born – and soon went viral.

On Christmas Day, Witherspoon responded, Tweeting a photo of herself with a Christmas wreath, writing, "Wishing y'all a very merry Christmas!!! Sincerely #WreathWitherspoon..(couldn't resist @mindykaling)"

We can't wait to see what Kaling, 35, sends Witherspoon if she brings home the gold during the 87th Academy Awards on Feb. 22.
