3 cops wounded in Copenhagen as police search for two gunmen in free speech event shooting: reports, Denmark authorities have launched a manhunt for two gunmen after three police officers were shot and wounded during a Copenhagen cafe free speech debate, according to reports.

About 30 bullets burst threw the windows of Krudttoenden cafe in northern Copenhagen during an event titled "Art, blasphemy and the freedom of expression" Saturday morning, according to BBC.

The event was organized by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who has been threatened for drawing the Prophet Muhammed.  He was not injured, organizer Helle Merete Brix told the Associated Press. When the artist is in Denmark, he receives police protection.

At least two people were taken away on stretchers, including a uniformed police officer.
