Tom Hanks had a big thank you for a man named Tony who found the actor’s credit card on a New York City street and returned it.
“Tony! You make this city even greater!” the “Saving Private Ryan” star wrote on Twitter to his nearly 10 million followers Friday morning.
It’s unclear when Hanks cast away his card - or where, exactly - but he had warm thoughts for the mystery savior. It’s unclear if Tony was given a reward, or how he got the card back to the 58-year-old actor.
Hanks showed what a good guy he is when he recently helped a group of San Francisco Bay Area Girl Scouts sell some cookies. The “Captain Phillips” star also recently pitched in a memorable appearance in the video for Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit single, “I Really Like You.”
