Ciara renee hawkgirl
Ciara renee hawkgirl, Deadline Hollywood, in a Monday exclusive, revealed that actress Ciara Renée has landed the role of Hawkgirl in a new still-yet-untitled show about superhero team-ups that's currently in the works. Anyone else thinks that the title might be The Brave and the Bold?
Ciara Renée made her TV debut just last fall when she was guest starring in an episode of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU. She's not a complete newcomer however, having played a lead in the Broadway show Pippin and the role of Esmeralda in a workshop production of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame at the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey and the La Jolla Playhouse.
The new superhero team-up show is a spin-off from the team-up success of the Arrow and the Flash TV show this season. The crossover, where both Green Arrow and the Flash teamed up to stop various villains, received high ratings and so it makes sense that the CW would want to replicate that success. The new show will once again be shepherded by the team of Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, the people responsible for the success of Arrow and the Flash TV series.
While the story for the new show is kept under wraps, we do know that Ciara Renée is joining a fairly huge cast for the new show. She'll be joining Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Victor Garber, and Katie Cassidy. With an ensemble cast like that, DC fanboys and fangirls should be waiting in anticipation for the premiere of this new show.
